Purchasing a One Touch Original or Premium barbecue also allows you
to benefit from the One Touch Cleaning System (not found on compact
kettle barbecues). This is the handle and damper blade assembly which
sits at the bottom of the barbecue bowl. The blades inside the bowl are
operated by the external handle, giving you extra control over
ventilation and therefore temperature, but there is also another big
advantage. These blades when moved will empty the bowl of any ash
build-up, making cleaning your barbecue very easy! This ash drops out
through the holes in the bottom of the barbecue and onto/into the ash
catcher. This is where you will notice one of the differences between
the One Touch Original and the One Touch Premium. On the premium
version, the ash catcher is a closed bowl, rather than the open dish
which is found on the original. The benefits of this are two-fold. The
bowl stores the ash away, preventing the wind from blowing it away. The
bowl is also removable, allowing you to empty its contents when you
choose.
