Several times our grill has caught fire and burned up into the
knobs...had to replace knobs once...almost caught the house on fire the
flames were so dramatic. Called the co. and they claimed we needed to
check for spider webs...none. We cleaned out the burner plumbing and
still it happened.I don't know why this isn't a recall item. Bought
at Home Depot...out of warantee.
Bought this thing about 2 years ago and after using it for about a month, it has been sitting in my patio. Pros:Grate is good quality and easy to clean.Thermostat is a plusCons:Handle to hold and move the grill is not sturdy enough with the propane tank and the small wheels adds to the problem.Takes
awhile to heat up and must have the lid on to keep it hot. This makes
it a problem when putting things on to cook or when flipping.Uneven cooking area.There are hot and cold spots. No temperature control what so ever.
